Brides Haute Bracelet

Picture
I was looking on the Knot at Salty Peanuts Haute Bracelet when Josh walked in and asked what I was looking at.  I told him that I wanted to make one and he agreed.  We went the next day to buy the supplies and I ordered my brooch from ebay.  Josh surprised me a couple days later when I came home from work and it was done.  He is amazing!!!!

Something Old- Bouquet attachment

Picture
I wanted to carry a picture of my daddy with me on my wedding day since he passed away in April.  I found this picture of my parents on their wedding day and made a frame to attach to my bouquet.  THIS IS MY FAVORITE DIY PROJECT!!!!

Floozy Suzie Koozy

Picture
This was not a planned DIY.  I came across the Koozy and decided to bling it up a bit.  We are having beer and wine at the reception and I am more of a beer drinker so I decided to do this so I had something pretty to hold my beer in.  My fiance named them.

Beaded Serving Set

Picture
I was very discouraged with this project and my dear friend Pattie offered to do them for me.  I think they turned out fabulous!!

Reserved Signs

Picture
When discussing how to distinguish our tables for the Bridal Party and family, Josh suggested that we use chalkboards to incorporate my teaching profession into our reception.  We will only have a Maid of Honor and a Best Man and chose to not have seating arranged except to keep family and the small wedding party in a general area.

Sign for Candy Buffet Table

Picture
I hand painted the sign and added the flowers and ribbon. (actually Pattie added the ribbon)

Cake Topper

Picture
We are having a Cupcake buffet and a small Bride and Groom Cake. Yet again, my dear friend Pattie is doing the cupcakes and cake.  She is sooo amazing!

Direction Sign

Picture
This sign will hang from a Shepards Hook outside the gate of the Winery.

Card Box

Picture
I found this box at Marshal's and I am in the process of painting wooden letters to glue onto the front.  This was a great find @ $5.00.  I LOVE MARSHAL'S!!!

Coctail Napkins

Picture
I stamped my own cocktail napkins using StazOn Ink.  I bought the napkins at PartyCity and the stamp from Michael's.  This was a quick and easy money saver!

Hair Piece

Picture
This is not completely a DIY.  I purchased the hair piece and added the hot pink feathers and rhinstones in the center.

Cupcake Stands

Picture
We purchased the candlesticks from Goodwill for $1.50 each and the plates from Marshal's for $2.00 each.  We affixed the plates using Opoxy.  I am still searching for a larger silver candle holder to make our cake stand.

Water Bottle Labels

Picture
A HUGE thank you to Jody for your permission to use your water bottle template.  I can't begin to tell you how much we LOVE them!!!!

Picture
It's great having kids to help with all of our projects!  Kasey and Abbey helping Dad with the water bottles.  They had so much fun!

Kids Crayons

Picture
My son Clayton and I made these for the kid bags.  They will go along with the Coloring/Activity Book.  I found the heart shaped tray at Michael's.

DIRECTIONS:
Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees
Unwrap crayons and cut into small pieces and place in each tray
Place heart mold onto cookie sheet (this will keep the tray even while cooking)
Heat for 15-20 minutes (depending on your oven)
Let cool
Push the bottom of the mold to release the crayons onto a cooling rack

Candy Jar Labels for Candy Buffet

Picture
I will be posting a picture once I put the jars together. And also a file in case you want to use my labels. The dots look a bit orange but they are brown.
